Active Benefits

The Security Benefits Fund offers benefits to all active participants and their eligible dependents which supplements their benefits as an employee of The City of New York. Benefits available to active participants and their eligible dependents are:

• Dental
• Optical
• Prescription Drugs
• Prepaid Legal

In addition, active members only are entitled to:

• Life Insurance
• Accident and Sickness Benefits
• Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage
